Whether you're hiking, cruising, or just walkin' around, the El Cap 18.5” Hybrid Walkshort is made for the long haul. Featuring 4-way stretch, quick-dry fabric made from a blend of cotton, nylon, and spandex. Designed with a zip-closed back pocket, side slash pockets, and a hidden zipper pocket, these shorts keep essentials secure. The chambray-lined waistband, center front button closure, and locking coil zipper at the fly ensure all-day comfort, on the land, near the water, and anywhere in between.

It's not yet cool enough to try a 4/3 in the water, which is 79 F here in Florida. I had picked up a 7 Seas 3/2 Comp chest zip, so was confident that the fit and performance would be good. This back zip has an over-the-head thin neoprene "dam" inside the zipper to cut water leakage. Such systems tend to be effective, and are a mark of quality.
Love it, the new neoprene sleeves are soft and flexible. See you guys at Surf Expo (I work with Surfing Florida Museum).

Ain’t nothin’ to it, U-Zip made me do it! This suit makes me want to paddle out, no madder. It’s insanely easy to get in and out of, no wrestling match required. Doesn’t hold water in the calves like some other suits, and it rinses/dries without any drama. Wearing Matuse and Feral before this, and while they’re solid, the U-Zip is honestly on another level right now. It just feels right. flexible, warm, and super well thought-out. No complaints here. Suit’s epic.
The Vissla website is easy to use, other than it's not possible to select a particular size that's also in-stock.
