      No zip. No compromise.

Built with Axxe's revolutionary U-Zip entry system, the New Seas wetsuit eliminates traditional zippers for maximum flexibility and a watertight seal. Anatomically engineered 3D body paneling and premium Japanese limestone neoprene create a suit that moves with you, not against you.

From cold water sessions to everyday shred, this is wetsuit innovation at its finest. Easy entry. Complete seal. Unmatched performance.

Vissla New Seas U-Zip Wetsuits: A New Way Into Your Wetsuit

The New Seas introduces a genuinely different wetsuit entry system. Instead of a back zip or chest zip, the New Seas opens across the chest in a U-shape — pull it on over your head, seal the U-shaped panel across your chest, and you get warmth retention equivalent to a chest-zip entry with ease of access closer to a back-zip suit. No zip hardware exposed to cold water or wind. No zip to ice up in January. Available in 3/2 and 4/3 with 100% Super Stretch S-Foam limestone neoprene and GBS seam construction.

U-Zip vs Chest Zip vs Back Zip: Understanding the Difference

A back-zip opens at the spine — fastest solo but with a potential flush point at the neck. A chest-zip seals across the chest minimizing water flush in cold conditions, but harder to get on alone. The U-Zip opens at the chest in a U-shape that seals flat when closed — no hardware in cold water, easier to seal than a traditional chest zip, with comparable warmth retention. For surfers who want chest-zip performance without the difficulty: this is the answer.

      New Seas Thicknesses

      • New Seas 3/2mm: Water 62–68°F. California spring through fall. Lightest U-Zip option for shoulder season.
      • New Seas 4/3mm: Water 55–62°F. Year-round California winter wetsuit in U-Zip construction.

      Benefits of the New Seas

      • U-Zip Innovation: Chest-zip warmth retention with back-zip ease of entry. No zip hardware exposed to salt water or icing conditions.
      • Same Foundation as 7 Seas: S-Foam limestone neoprene, GBS seams, Fever Fiber lining — proven daily-driver construction with a new entry system.
      • 1-Year Warranty: Full seam and neoprene warranty consistent with all Vissla wetsuits.
