Every lineup has its own language. The Dialect speaks all of them fluently. A four-way stretch boardshort built from recycled Repreve poly and coconut fibers, 50% recycled polyester, 38% polyester from coconut, 12% spandex, running a 21-inch outseam for extended coverage. A full wrap-around tethered drawstring keeps the waist honest, and a welded back zip pocket stashes a key and leash string. Long days, traded waves, zero translation required.

In the past, water-repellant fabrics were treated with chemicals known as PFCs and Fluorocarbons to help prevent surface saturation into the fabrics. The problem is that as these chemicals are released from the fabrics over time they have been shown to harm the living organisms they come into contact with, affecting reproduction and hormone systems. Vissla has chosen to move to 100% PFC and Fluorocarbon-free DWR water repellant coating for our boardshorts.
