The Ecology Center
The Ecology Center is a non-profit eco-education center focused on creative solutions for thriving on planet Earth. Our holistic approach to change-making is based on our core belief that we give more than we take, we are intimately interconnected to each other and our shared environment. Through daily action, we can transform our schools, homes, workplaces, and communities into vibrant community ecosystems. We work to inspire communities around our initiatives Water, Grow, Eat, and Make. Our hope is to empower individuals everywhere to be part of the solution. Together, we can create a healthy, abundant future.
To model creative solutions for thriving on planet earth.
A culture that gives more than it takes.
In a world that gives more than it takes.
Road Trip is a 32-foot double decker bus that acts as The Ecology Center on wheels. A mobile education tool, Road Trip allows The Ecology Center to visit communities that don’t normally have access to their programming. From planting school gardens, to student-led community celebrations, The Ecology Center considers Road Trip their greatest facilitator of a healthy, harmonious and abundant future.
From learning how to grow your own vegetables to a lesson on natural dyeing techniques, The Ecology Center wants to give everyone the skills and knowledge it takes to live in harmony with our shared ecosystems.
The Ecology Center invites you to sit down for farm-to-table dinners with world renowned chefs, explore local and handmade artisan goods, celebrate our beautiful planet and come together with a community who gives more than it takes.
