The surf scene in Burleigh, Liam O'Brien's hometown, is unlike pretty much anywhere in the world. To call it a surf scene isn't even doing it justice. As cliche as it sounds, surfing is deeply rooted in all aspects of life. It makes it seem that the cliche more than likely has its genesis somewhere in that town.

At the center of it all is the Burleigh Boardriders. Enter: Liam O'Brien. Humble dude, could call him cool-calm-collected. Dedicated to the craft and art. And relentless in his pursuit.
