This Is Where I Am - A New Surf Film Featuring Andrew Jacobson

Vissla is proud to announce the premiere of This Is Where I Am, a brand-new surf film directed by Hunter Martinez of Chapter 11 TV and hosted by none other than Dane Reynolds. The film spotlights Andrew Jacobson, Vissla team rider and Malibu’s own working-class hero, in a raw and authentic portrait of what it means to chase surf dreams while staying grounded in everyday life.

A Glimpse Into Andrew’s World

Shot in a mix of intimate, handheld footage and dynamic surf action, This Is Where I Am offers a rare look into Andrew Jacobson’s life beyond the lineup. Viewers are invited into his daily routine with Dane Reynolds, alongside candid insights from family, friends, and peers who shape his story.

Of course, no Andrew Jacobson film would be complete without waves. Martinez and Reynolds weave together Andrew’s recent sessions from California, Ireland, Tahiti, and Fiji - balancing big, barreling action with the subtler moments that inspire him to keep pushing, working, and dreaming.
