Yi Wo Surf Film Screening at The Ecology Center — Free & Open to All

We’re stoked to invite you down to San Juan Capistrano for the next stop of the world tour of Yi Wo, the new surf film by Thomas Campbell that’s less about competition and more about surf, life, and connection. Filmed in Fiji, Morocco, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Australia, Utah, Hawaiʻi, and California, it’s a full exploration of our element and what drives us in the water.
Here’s what’s happening:
📍 Venue: The Ecology Center, 32701 Alipaz Street, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675
📆 Date: Thursday, November 13
🕕 Time: Doors open at 6:00 PM, screening at 7:00 PM (arrive early for best seats, bring a chair!)
🎟️ Cost: Free and open to all ages.

Why You Should Be There
This screening isn’t your typical film night. Guided by the raw, analog aesthetic Thomas Campbell is known for, Yi Wo invites viewers into a poetic and immersive surf experience that feels both intimate and expansive. It’s a reflective ride through motion, place, and the act of wave sliding with intention.
And what better place than The Ecology Center, right in our backyard of Orange County surf culture, to host this gathering? It’s a moment where community, ocean, and story meet, and we’re proud to share it.
