The Palm Grande, as its name suggests, is a premium 4-Way stretch Ecolastic boardshort showcasing our deluxe purple palms. Measuring 16.5” on the outseam, these comfortable surf trunks are fabricated with a form fitting elastic waist, from our performance blend of eco-friendly recycled polyester Repreve and coconut fibers. Additional features include its caliper scalloped hem back pocket with integrated key rope and on-seam pockets.

In the past, water-repellant fabrics were treated with chemicals known as PFCs and Fluorocarbons to help prevent surface saturation into the fabrics. The problem is that as these chemicals are released from the fabrics over time they have been shown to harm the living organisms they come into contact with, affecting reproduction and hormone systems. Vissla has chosen to move to 100% PFC and Fluorocarbon-free DWR water repellant coating for our boardshorts.
